ABOUT

My name is Nico and I am a student studying at Northeastern University, with a growing focus on fashion, photography, and visual culture. My creative interests center on the ways clothing, images, music, art, and urban environments can communicate identity and shape how we understand the world around us.

I created Vesti La Giubba, or VLG, as a space to showcase my creative work and document the development of my perspective. The site will bring together photography, essays, fashion commentary, and observations from my time studying in Paris. Rather than treating these subjects as separate interests, VLG explores the connections between them and the stories they can tell when placed alongside one another.

Much of the work featured here is influenced by the streets, museums, cemeteries, shops, and cultural spaces I encountered throughout Paris and London. Through photography and writing, I am interested in capturing details that might otherwise be overlooked, including signs of age, isolation, beauty, transformation, and personal expression.

VLG is both an archive of my experiences and an evolving creative project. It reflects where I am now while allowing me to experiment, refine my visual identity, and continue developing my voice within fashion and culture.
